You shouldn’t miss a visit to the most vibrant country house in the area when you are in Ipolyszalka. Not only exhibitions, but also living traditions and old-fashioned gastronomy. In the first rooms of the farmhouse, built in 1897 and now restored to its former glory, you can see the local costumes and furnishings, as well as the tools and utensils used. The barn has a craft workshop and accommodation for summer camps. The old summer kitchen comes to life at weekends and is used to make delicious pastries. The homemade syrups and jams are not to be missed.
